- 1 cup Maple Syrup--I use light maple
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 3 eggs
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
- Lightly spray baking dish with cooking spray (PAM)
- Pour syrup into dish
- Slice bread into 8 2in thick slices and place over syrup
- In bowl, combine eggs, egg whites, milk, vanilla and nutmeg-Beat well
- Pour mixture over bread and cover dish. Refridgerate overnight
- Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes covered with aluminum foil, remove foil and continue to bake for an additional 20 minutes.
